Hello from the studio
Simply Music is a small studio making instruments for people who would rather play than configure. Three of them are far enough along to have a page:
- Simply Flux — a synthesizer you can talk to. In alpha, by invitation.
- Simply Nexus — a Rust-native VST3 / CLAP host with a headless MCP server. Open source.
- Simply Droplets — a plugin that lets an AI play your DAW. Open source.
This blog is where the build notes go: what shipped, what was learned, and the occasional patch worth hearing.
